TheChemCollective – Automatically Graded Randomized Problems – Metals Density Problem The chemistry learning object replicates what might take place in a physical lab and provides users with an opportunity to practice and get feedback (right or wrong).
Ratios and Proportions – Wisc-Online The math learning object replicates what might take place in a classroom, beginning with objectives, examples, and opportunities for users to practice and get feedback. This is appropriate for multiple grade levels throughout K-12 and some post-secondary, both “academic” and “technical” in application.
Depot Pilot Programs from Founding Members
Morehead State University
The IEQ (Improving Educator Quality) grant titled “The Math and Science Partnership” is designed to help teachers introduce hands-on activities in science class, which will generate data that can be processed and analyzed in mathematics class. The 2-year project is an integrated program for teachers that includes a five day summer institute, an online community, curriculum, student testing and continued embedded professional support for teachers.
